The book is with the awesome Leslie Lutz, editor extaordinaire! She is working on it as we speak... she even likes the new 'chapter zero' prologue :-)
ALSO! BookflyDesign.com is about ready to start the much-anticipated collaboration on the cover... I am SO excited about this because I really love the work they do at http://www.bookflydesign.com/portfolio/ and have basically been salivating over ideas for my own cover for (literally) months. I plan to update with the ideas and versions as we go along so that you guys can see a little bit into the future.
As for mystical experiences... there are mysteries to encounter every day, synchronicities show up when you are ready to see them. But the most recent and interesting item that actually relates to the subject matter of the books in Stewards of the Plane is that I think I have found a NEW VORTEX to explore, which means there is another potential road trip in my future!
... and this new vortex may *just* show up in the third book :-D
Oh who am I kidding? OF COURSE it will show up in the third book! The universe doesn't just put this stuff out there for me to stumble upon for no good reason, now does it?
