It looks like I may be able to share some GREAT NEWS very soon abut my steam-fantasy Novelet, HELIODOR. For those of you who have not heard me talk about HELIODOR before -- here's a bite:

HELIODOR features a blind protagonist named Malfric who has a unique alchemical skill that is often needed by bumbling men like Captain Finch – who are too inept to solve a mystery on their own. Fortunately, Finch’s first mate Quantex is a colorful and intelligent chap who picks up the slack when needed and makes a satisfyingly Watson-ish sidekick to Malfric’s Holmes. In this latest adventure of Malfric and Quantex, an artifact has been stolen from a Lord’s estate, a dead body has been recovered and the whole case reeks of herring – the red kind, not the pickled.
